Thursday, May 16 Catcher in the Rye day 1 chapters 1-3

Due today: having read through chapter 1 of J. D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye
Due tomorrow: vocabulary 12 (handed out on Monday)
HOMEWORK: chapters 4 and 5 for Fridahy
                          through chapter 10 for Monday
In class: I am at a workshop today.  Your substitute will hand out study guide questions for chapters 1-3. Last night's homework was to read chapter 1, so this will be a quick review, leaving you only chapters 2 and 3 for in class. These are due at the end of class. Please hand them in.
