Catcher in the Rye....through chapter 10 / setting / the red hat

In class: First 15 minutes reading comprehension check: The hat.....when and where and why does Holden put on the hat?  Comple the organizer...copy beloe

                     FOR TUESDAY, May 28   please have finished the book.  Expect a cumulative content assessment.
DUE Wednesday,May29....graphic organizer packet.  This consists organizers that track character and theme development through out the text.  You will have 20 minutes of class time each day to work on these, but will need to spend time outside of class. This will count for a writing grade. 


In class today: the following graphic organizer pertains to Holden's hat. The page numbers correspond to when Holden puts on his hat. Note the circumstances around which he dons his hate, and then tell the significance (analysis).
