Ephiphany essay due tomorrow. See copy of assignment below as shown on Wednesday's blog.
Both Meerpol's and O'Hara's poems were inspired by an ephiphany, that is a moment of deep insight which impacts one's perspective on life. In approximately 250-300 words, describe such an occassion that you have experienced. Use vivid descriptive language to create a sense of place. These should be typed with a MLA heading. (Bonus...for every vocabulary word from this week's assignment you incorporate logically and effectively (not pretentiously or artificially) into your assignment, I'll add five extra vocabulary points.)

In class: We are continuing with The Day Lady Died and Strange Fruit, analyzing using the "Basic Handout." from yesterday.
